Rayan Krishnan

Rayan Krishnan is the co-founder and CEO of Vals AI, an independent AI benchmarking and evaluation company headquartered in San Francisco. He previously conducted research at the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, where he worked on AI evaluation, medical imaging, and self-supervised learning in healthcare. Vals AI builds benchmarks that measure large language model performance on professional tasks in fields such as law, finance, engineering, and medicine, and its results have been cited in model cards from major AI labs including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and xAI.
