Teahose is operated by 11196286 Canada Inc. (“Teahose”, “we”). By using teahose.com, the daily digest, the API, or the podcast connector, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Teahose publishes structured summaries of podcasts, newsletters, and research papers, plus the people, companies, and themes they mention. The catalog changes daily: shows are added and, occasionally, removed. We don't promise that any particular episode stays available.
- Signing in (Google or magic link) creates an account tied to your email.
- API keys and connector keys are secrets. Anything done with your key counts as done by you, including spending credits. Revoke a key immediately from your connector page if it leaks.
- One person per account. Don't share keys or resell access.
- What an unlock buys. One credit gives your account permanent access, while the service operates, to one episode's summary through the connector. Re-reading an unlocked episode, searching, previewing, and quoting are free. We never bill per request or per tool call.
- Price. Packs are $5.00 USD for 20 unlocks ($0.25 each), charged in US dollars through Stripe. Your bank may convert and add fees. New accounts get 3 free unlocks.
- No automatic refills. A pack is bought only when you complete a checkout yourself. When credits run out, the connector tells your assistant and nothing is charged.
- Credits are not money. They are non-transferable, non-interest-bearing, and have no cash value except as described under Refunds. They don't expire while the service operates.
- Duplicates and failures. Every unlock request carries an idempotency key, so a retried request is never charged twice. If a request fails after charging, re-reading the episode is free. If we ever double-charge, tell us and we refund the duplicate.
- Taxes. Prices exclude any sales tax Stripe is required to collect for your location; it is shown at checkout.
Premium is a separate annual subscription for the website, managed through Stripe billing. It renews until you cancel; cancel anytime from your account page and keep access until the period ends. Premium does not include summary credits unless we say so on the pricing page.
- A credit pack with no credits used is refundable in full within 14 days of purchase — email agent@teahose.com.
- Used credits are not refundable.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded.
- If Teahose shuts the connector down, we refund unused paid credits pro-rata ($0.25 each) to the original payment method.
- A refund removes the refunded credits from your balance.
- Use summaries in your own reading, research, and AI assistants. Quote and link to them.
- Don't bulk-export, mirror, or resell the catalog, and don't build a competing summary feed from it.
- Don't probe, overload, or bypass rate limits, payment checks, or keys.
Summaries are generated by AI from audio and text that the original creators publish. They can be wrong, incomplete, or misattribute a quote. Each summary links to its source; verify before you rely on it. Podcasts, newsletters, and papers remain the property of their creators, and we credit them on every page. If you own content and want it removed, email us.
We can change or discontinue features, and we can suspend accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). If we terminate your account without cause, we refund unused paid credits.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, Teahose's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on a summary.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Consumers keep any non-waivable rights of their home jurisdiction.
If these terms change materially, we update the effective date above and mention it in the daily digest. Continued use after a change means you accept it; a change never reduces credits you already paid for.
