Jonathan Hurst

Jonathan W. Hurst is a professor of robotics at Oregon State University and co-founder of Agility Robotics, where he serves as Chief Robot Officer. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering and an M.S. and Ph.D. in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and has been at Oregon State University since 2008. His research focuses on the fundamental science and engineering of legged locomotion, and he is known for developing legged robots including Cassie and the humanoid robot Digit.
