Péter Fankhauser

Péter Fankhauser is the co-founder and CEO of ANYbotics, a Zurich-based robotics company and ETH Zurich spin-off that develops autonomous legged robots for industrial inspection. He holds a doctorate in robotics from ETH Zurich, where he developed perception, mapping, planning, and control algorithms for legged robots navigating challenging environments. He is best known for leading ANYbotics in developing the ANYmal robot, a four-legged autonomous platform used by industrial clients such as BP, Siemens Energy, and Outokumpu for inspecting hazardous environments including drilling platforms, wind turbines, and steel mills.
