David George

David George is a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) where he leads the firm's Growth investing team. He joined a16z in 2019 after seven years at General Atlantic, where he led growth investments in companies including Airbnb, Slack, and Uber. His a16z growth portfolio includes notable companies such as Databricks, Figma, Stripe, SpaceX, Anduril, and OpenAI, and he is known for investing across the AI stack from foundational models to applications. He holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
