Kamala Harris

Kamala Devi Harris is an American politician and attorney who served as the 49th vice president of the United States from 2021 to 2025 under President Joe Biden. She previously served as a U.S. senator from California from 2017 to 2021 and as the attorney general of California from 2011 to 2017. She was the Democratic Party's nominee in the 2024 presidential election, which she lost to Republican nominee Donald Trump. She is best known for her career in law enforcement and her historic representation as the first woman, first African American, and first Asian American to hold the office of vice president.
