Mahmoud (Mido) Assran is a research scientist who worked at Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) lab in Montreal and is now a founding team member at Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI). He is best known for his work on Joint-Embedding Predictive Architectures (JEPA), including I-JEPA and V-JEPA, frameworks for self-supervised learning of visual representations from images and video.
