Toby Z. Rice

Toby Z. Rice is the President and Chief Executive Officer of EQT Corporation, the largest natural gas producer in the United States. He co-founded Rice Energy with his brothers in 2007 and led it as President and COO until its sale to EQT in 2017 for approximately $8.5 billion, after which he became CEO of EQT in July 2019. He is best known for his data-driven approach to Appalachian basin operations and for advocating American energy independence and lower-emission natural gas production.
