Hao Tang

Hao Tang is an Assistant Professor and Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Peking University, where he directs the Embodied and Generative Intelligence Laboratory. His research spans generative AI, world models, spatial intelligence, embodied AI, and computer vision, with over 200 papers published at top-tier venues including CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICML, and IEEE TPAMI. He conducted postdoctoral research at Carnegie Mellon University and ETH Zurich after earning his Ph.D. from the University of Trento, and has been named to Stanford University's World's Top 2% Scientists list for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025.
