Yonghyeon Lee

Yonghyeon Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Yonsei University, having joined the faculty in September 2026. He is concurrently a Postdoctoral Associate at the MIT Biomimetic Robotics Lab, working with Professor Sangbae Kim. He earned his Ph.D. from Seoul National University's Robotics Lab under Professor Frank C. Park, and previously served as an AI Research Fellow at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study. His research focuses on geometric machine learning, perception for manipulation, and physics-grounded control methods for robotic systems.
