Yuyao Liu

Yuyao Liu is a PhD student in EECS at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who previously earned his B.Eng. in Computer Science from the Yao Class at Tsinghua University. He is the lead and corresponding author of RAPID, a framework that automatically generates, verifies, and refines robot programs from a single visual human demonstration using agentic coding. His research spans reinforcement learning, representation learning, and robotic manipulation, including work on tool-use grounding and dexterous manipulation.
