Shilong Liu

Shilong Liu is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Princeton AI Lab, where he works with Professor Mengdi Wang on multimodal AI, autonomous agents, and world models for embodied AI. He received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and has held research positions at ByteDance Seed, NVIDIA Research, and Microsoft Research. He is best known as the first author of Grounding DINO, a widely used open-world object detection model, as well as contributions to the DETR family of detection models and multimodal agent systems such as LLaVA-Plus.
