Rick Wurster

Rick Wurster is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Charles Schwab Corporation, having assumed the role on January 1, 2025. He leads a workforce of approximately 33,700 employees overseeing approximately $13 trillion in client assets across the firm's retail brokerage, banking, and independent investment advisor platforms. He is best known for his trajectory through senior asset management roles at Schwab and for championing the firm's expansion into private market investing, including the acquisition of Forge Global. He holds an MBA from Dartmouth College, a bachelor's degree from Villanova University, and both the CFA and CMT designations.
