Wei Zhan

Wei Zhan is an Assistant Professional Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, where he serves as Co-Director of Berkeley DeepDrive and Co-Director of the BAIR Center for Humanoid Intelligence. He is also Chief Scientist at Applied Intuition, a company providing simulation and validation platforms for autonomous systems. His research focuses on AI for scalable autonomous systems, encompassing robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and control, and he is the lead author of the INTERACTION dataset for autonomous driving prediction. He received his PhD from UC Berkeley in 2019 and has received multiple best paper awards at flagship robotics and AI conferences.
