Ajay Agarwal

Ajay Agarwal is a Partner at Bain Capital Ventures, where he has invested in early-stage application software, AI, and robotics companies for over two decades. He is best known for leading BCV's early investment in Kiva Systems, which was acquired by Amazon and became Amazon Robotics, as well as investments in companies such as Gainsight, ShipBob, and Clari. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and previously served as SVP of Sales and Marketing at Trilogy Software, where he helped scale revenues to $300 million.
