Christos Kozyrakis

Christos Kozyrakis is the Leonard Bosack and Sandy K. Lerner Professor of Engineering and a Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University, and also serves as a researcher at NVIDIA. He specializes in computer architecture and systems software, with current research focusing on cloud computing infrastructure, systems for machine learning, and machine learning for systems. He is best known for his work on transactional memory systems, resource-efficient cloud computing including the Paragon and Quasar systems, and AI infrastructure systems such as SGLang. He is a Fellow of both the ACM and IEEE and has received numerous awards including the ACM SIGARCH Maurice Wilkes Award and the IEEE Computer Society Harry H. Goode Memorial Award.
