Rémi Cadène

Remi Cadene is a roboticist and AI researcher who currently serves as co-founder and CEO of UMA, a robotics engineering company based in Paris. He previously worked as a Principal Research Scientist at Hugging Face, where he led the development of LeRobot, an open-source library for real-world robotics in PyTorch. Prior to Hugging Face, he was a Staff Scientist at Tesla working on Autopilot and the Tesla Optimus robot. He holds a PhD from Sorbonne University and completed postdoctoral research at Brown University.
