Dan Driscoll

Dan Driscoll is an American military veteran, former investment professional, and former government official who served as the 26th Secretary of the Army from February 2025 to September 2026. He previously worked in private equity and venture capital, including roles as COO of Flex Capital and as a partner at 100watt. A former Army cavalry scout platoon leader deployed to Iraq with the 10th Mountain Division, he is best known for leading the Army Transformation Initiative to modernize military procurement and technology adoption. He resigned from his Army secretary role amid reported tensions with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
