Robin Sloan

Robin Sloan is an American fiction author based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Joaquin Valley of California. He is the author of the novels Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, Sourdough, and Moonbound, and has written fiction and commentary for publications including The New York Times, The Atlantic, and MIT Technology Review. He is also the co-founder of Fat Gold, a California extra virgin olive oil producer, and maintains active projects in creative computing and AI on GitHub, including experiments with recurrent neural networks for writing tools.
