Linda Avey

Linda Avey is an American biologist and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of 23andMe, a direct-to-consumer genetic testing and research company she launched in 2006 alongside Anne Wojcicki and Paul Cusenza. She currently serves as a founding general partner at Humain Ventures, an Austin-based venture capital firm investing at the intersection of AI and the bioeconomy, and is the co-founder and CEO of Precisely, Inc., a company focused on automating clinical protocols to improve healthcare outcomes. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Human Immunome Project and is a member of the Board of Fellows at Stanford Medical Center. Prior to 23andMe, she spent over two decades in sales and business development in the biopharmaceutical industry, including roles at Affymetrix and Perlegen Sciences.
