Sandhya Devanathan

Sandhya Devanathan is a technology and business executive who served as Vice President and Head of India and Southeast Asia at Meta, a role she held from 2023 until her departure in 2026. She joined Meta in 2016 and held several leadership positions over her decade-long tenure, including leading the Asia-Pacific gaming business and expanding the company's presence in Singapore and Vietnam. She is set to join OpenAI in October 2026 as Vice President overseeing Southeast Asia and Australia, responsible for consumer growth, enterprise adoption, partnerships, regulatory engagement, and operations across the region. Prior to Meta, she held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank and Citi, with over two decades of experience across banking, payments, and technology.
