Mark Hoeing

Mark Hoeing is the President and CEO of CF Private Equity, the private markets investment platform of Commonfund, where he leads the firm's buyout and growth equity investment practice and serves on its Investment Committee. He oversees due diligence, manager selection, and portfolio construction across primary fund investments, secondaries, and co-investments, focusing on early-stage venture capital, small middle-market buyouts, and private natural resources. Prior to joining Commonfund in 2005, he held investment roles at Deutsche Bank and began his career as a credit analyst at Citizens Financial Group. He holds a B.S. in Health Policy and Management and an M.B.A. from Providence College.
