Jaya Gupta

Jaya Gupta is a Partner at Foundation Capital, where she leads early-stage investments across the enterprise software stack with a focus on AI infrastructure and generative AI applications. She originally joined Foundation Capital as chief of staff focused on portfolio operations and strategy, after previously working in McKinsey's technology practice. She is best known for co-authoring the essay AI's Trillion Dollar Opportunity: Context Graphs, which describes how capturing decision traces can enable autonomous AI agents in enterprise settings. Prior to her venture capital career, she worked at two startups that were both acquired and founded a non-profit called Give a Birthday.
