Zhijian Liu

Zhijian Liu is an assistant professor at UC San Diego and a research scientist at NVIDIA. He directs Z Lab and focuses on efficient machine learning and systems, working to make AI models smaller, faster, and more efficient across algorithm, system, and application layers. He received his PhD from MIT under the advisement of Song Han and has been recognized as a Rising Star in ML and Systems by MLCommons and a Rising Star in Data Science by UChicago and UCSD.
