Brian Conrey

Brian Conrey is an American mathematician specializing in analytic number theory, particularly the analytic theory of L-functions and the Riemann zeta function. He is the founding executive director of the American Institute of Mathematics, a position he has held since 1997, and has served as a part-time professor at the University of Bristol since 2005. He is best known for his work on the distribution of zeros of the Riemann zeta function, including proving with Bui and Young in 2011 that more than 41 percent of the zeros lie on the critical line.
