Sreyas Venkataraman

Sreyas Venkataraman is a first-year Master's student in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is advised by Prof. Max Simchowitz and Prof. Aviral Kumar. His research focuses on the intersection of reinforcement learning, generative modeling, and representation learning, with particular interest in how large pretrained robot policies and world models can become adaptive systems. He has published work on offline reinforcement learning from vision-language model feedback and self-improving video generation for embodied planning. Prior to CMU, he studied at IIT Kharagpur and participated in the CMU Robotics Institute Summer Scholars program.
