Fred Wilson

Fred Wilson is an American venture capitalist and the co-founder and partner of Union Square Ventures (USV), a New York City-based venture capital firm. He has been in the venture capital industry since 1987, previously co-founding Flatiron Partners in 1996. He is best known for his investments in companies such as Twitter, Tumblr, Etsy, MongoDB, and Coinbase, as well as for his widely read daily blog AVC, which he has maintained since 2003 covering venture capital, entrepreneurship, and technology.
