Peter O. Crisp

Peter O. Crisp is a founding and former managing partner of Venrock Associates, a venture capital firm funded by members of the Rockefeller family. He served as an associate of the Rockefeller family for forty-five years and was president of Venrock from 1980 to 1995 and board chairman from 1995 to 1997. He is best known for his pioneering role in the venture capital industry and for early investments in companies including Apple Computer, Intel, and Thermo Electron Corp. He received his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1960 and was honored with the National Venture Capital Association's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004.
