R. Ravi

R. Ravi is the Vasantrao Dempo Professor of Operations Research and Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, where he has been on the faculty since 1995. He serves as Director of Analytics Strategy and founded the Center for Intelligent Business at CMU, and has been an Amazon Scholar since 2021. He is best known for his research in discrete optimization, combinatorial and network optimization, and their applications in supply chains, logistics, and online advertising, and was elected a fellow of INFORMS in 2017.
