Zhang Xiaolong

Zhang Xiaolong, also known as Allen Zhang, is a Senior Executive Vice President and President of the Weixin Group at Tencent Holdings Limited. He is best known as the creator and founding father of WeChat, which launched in 2011 and has grown into one of China's most widely used social media platforms with over one billion daily active users. He also independently developed the email client Foxmail in 1997 and previously led the QQ Mail team at Tencent. He holds a master's degree in telecommunications from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
