Bernd Bornick

Bernt Børnich is the founder and CEO of 1X, an AI and robotics company headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area with manufacturing in Norway. He leads the development of NEO, a humanoid robot designed to assist with everyday tasks in home and commercial environments. He is best known for his strategy of using human-like biomechanics to enable training on internet-scale human video data, and for inventing the Revo1 direct drive servomotor.
