Dacheng Tao

Dacheng Tao is a Distinguished University Professor in the College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he also serves as the Inaugural Director of the Generative AI Lab. He is best known for his research in artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, and data science, with over 300 publications and more than 112,000 citations. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, AAAS, ACM, and IEEE, and has received multiple major awards including the Australian Eureka Prize and the IEEE Computer Society McCluskey Technical Achievement Award.
