Ping Luo

Ping Luo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong, where he also serves as Associate Director of the HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science and Deputy Director of the HKU-Shanghai AI Lab Joint Laboratory. He obtained his PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014 and was previously a Research Director at SenseTime. He has published over 100 papers in top-tier AI conferences and journals including TPAMI, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, and CVPR, and was recognized as an MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35 in the Asia-Pacific region in 2020.
