Harvey M. Schwartz

Harvey M. Schwartz is the Chief Executive Officer of The Carlyle Group, a global investment firm, having assumed the role in February 2023. He previously served as President and Co-Chief Operating Officer of The Goldman Sachs Group, where he also held the position of Chief Financial Officer and led several major divisions over a career spanning more than 35 years in finance. He holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Columbia University.
