Braden Hancock

Braden Hancock is a Research Partner at Laude Institute and a co-founder of Snorkel AI, where he previously served as Head of Technology before transitioning to a strategic advisory role in 2024. He also held the position of Director of AI at Meta, where he founded and led the centralized GenAI Evaluations organization responsible for evaluation strategy and development for the Llama 3.x family of foundation models. His earlier research at Stanford University focused on programmatic data labeling, weak supervision, and training data curation, work that formed the technical foundation for Snorkel AI's data-centric AI platform. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University and has approximately 18 years of experience in AI research and engineering.
