Haochen Shi

Haochen Shi is a third-year computer science PhD student at Stanford University, advised by C. Karen Liu and Shuran Song. His research focuses on robotics and computer vision, particularly deformable object manipulation and humanoid robot platforms. He is best known as a co-creator of ToddlerBot, a low-cost, open-source humanoid robot platform designed for scalable policy learning and loco-manipulation research. He previously earned his BS at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his MS at Stanford.
