Mingyu Ding is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he leads the Intelligent Dexterous Embodied AI Lab (IDEAL@UNC). His research focuses on the intersection of robotics, embodied AI, and computer vision, with emphasis on dexterous manipulation, robot learning, and foundational models for embodied agents. He received his doctorate from the University of Hong Kong in 2022 and was a postdoctoral fellow at BAIR, UC Berkeley.
