Charles Hoskinson

Charles Hoskinson is an American entrepreneur and the co-founder of the blockchain engineering company IOHK, now known as Input Output Global, where he serves as CEO. He is best known as the founder of the Cardano blockchain platform and its ADA cryptocurrency, and as one of the five original co-founders of Ethereum. He was removed from the Ethereum project in 2014 after a dispute with Vitalik Buterin over whether Ethereum should be commercial or nonprofit, and subsequently co-founded IOHK with Jeremy Wood to build Cardano.
