Dan Ives is a technology analyst and managing director who served as Global Head of Technology Research at Wedbush Securities from 2018 until his departure in July 2026. He is best known for his equity research coverage of the technology sector, including software, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, and for his frequent media commentary on major financial networks. In July 2026, he co-founded Yorkville Ives & Co., a merchant banking firm focused on AI, technology, industrials, energy transition, and infrastructure.
