Lewis Bollard

Lewis Bollard is the Farm Animal Welfare Managing Director at Coefficient Giving, where he leads the organization's strategy and grantmaking for farm animal welfare. He previously served as the Farm Animal Welfare Program Director at Open Philanthropy from 2015 to 2025, during which he became a prominent funder and strategist in the farmed animal advocacy movement. He is best known for directing major philanthropic funding toward reducing suffering in industrial animal agriculture, including securing corporate cage-free commitments from major food companies. He holds a BA from Harvard University and a JD from Yale Law School.
