Christopher M. Snyder

Christopher M. Snyder is the Joel Z. and Susan Hyatt Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He specializes in industrial organization, microeconomic theory, and law and economics, with recent work focused on healthcare, vaccines, and the economics of open access journals. He is best known for his research on advance market commitments, including advising on the design of AMCs for pneumococcal and COVID-19 vaccines, and he co-directs the Market Shaping Accelerator headquartered at the Center for Global Development.
