George Hotz

George Francis Hotz, known online as geohot, is an American security hacker, entrepreneur, and software engineer. He is the founder and president of comma.ai, a company developing advanced driver-assistance systems whose open-source software openpilot supports over 300 vehicle models. He is also known for early iOS jailbreaks, reverse engineering the PlayStation 3, and founding tiny corp in November 2022 to develop the tinygrad deep learning framework. He stepped back from day-to-day leadership of comma.ai in October 2022 but remains on its board.
