Brett Palmer

Brett Palmer is the President of the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA), the premier organization representing lower middle market private equity funds and investors in the United States. He leads SBIA's advocacy for policies that promote competitive markets and robust domestic investment in small businesses, having previously served in executive branch roles at the U.S. Department of Commerce and in congressional staff positions. He is best known for his advocacy on behalf of Small Business Investment Companies (SBICs), including his testimony before Congress and his push for legislation such as the Investing in All of America Act, which modernizes the SBIC program to expand capital access in rural, low-income, and manufacturing sectors.
