Hengyuan Hu

Hengyuan Hu is a PhD student at Stanford University studying artificial intelligence and robotics, advised by Dorsa Sadigh. His research focuses on imitation learning, reinforcement learning on real robots, and human-AI coordination. He was previously a Research Engineer at Facebook AI Research (FAIR) from 2018 to 2022, where he was a core member of the team that created Cicero, an AI agent that achieved human-level performance in the game of Diplomacy by combining language models with strategic reasoning.
