James Palles-Dimmock

James Palles-Dimmock is the CEO of Quantum Motion, a UK-based quantum computing company developing fault-tolerant quantum hardware using silicon CMOS technology. He holds a PhD in Quantum Physics from Imperial College London and an MSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, with over a decade of experience in semiconductor technology commercialization, including prior work at Sharp. He has led Quantum Motion through multiple funding rounds totaling over £60 million and a Series C raise of $160 million, growing the company to a team of more than 40 since its founding in 2017.
