Jim Swartz

Jim Swartz is a founding partner of Accel, the venture capital firm he co-founded with Arthur Patterson in 1983. Over a career spanning more than 50 years in venture capital, he has served as lead director for over 50 successful companies, with notable investments including Facebook, Dropbox, Etsy, and Veritas Software. He is also an active philanthropist, co-founding Impact Partners, which funds social impact documentaries, and sponsors the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship at Carnegie Mellon University.
