Bilal Abu-Ghazaleh

Bilal Abu-Ghazaleh is the founder and CEO of 1001 AI, a company building an AI-native operating system for decision-making in critical industries across the Middle East and North Africa. He previously served as Director of Operations at Scale AI, where he led generative AI operations and scaled the contributor network for data annotation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University and also held earlier roles at Hive AI. His company, 1001 AI, raised a $9 million seed round in 2025 led by CIV, General Catalyst, and Lux Capital.
