William Painter Reger

William Painter Reger is an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where he works in the Robot Interactive Intelligence Lab on dexterous manipulation research. He is a senior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and serves as a co-author on CoDex, a framework for learning compositional dexterous functional manipulation without human demonstrations. His work contributes to the development of zero-demonstration approaches for functional object manipulation using vision-language models, constrained optimization, and reinforcement learning.
