Diego Romeres

Diego Romeres is a Senior Principal Research Scientist and Team Leader at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), where he works in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and robotics. His research focuses on model-based reinforcement learning, robot dynamics identification, and physics-informed AI for industrial applications. He has published extensively in venues such as IEEE Transactions on Robotics and NeurIPS, and collaborates with researchers at the University of Padua and Mitsubishi Electric's Information Technology R&D Center.
