Connie Loizos

Connie Loizos is the General Manager and Editor-in-Chief of TechCrunch and the founder of StrictlyVC, a venture capital industry newsletter and events brand acquired by Yahoo in 2023 and now operated as a TechCrunch sub-brand. She previously served as Silicon Valley Editor at TechCrunch beginning in 2015 and, before that, as a senior editor at Thomson Reuters. She began her career covering venture capital and startups at the original Red Herring magazine in 1996 and has also held staff positions at Dow Jones, Time Inc., and Crain Communications. She is best known as a leading voice in venture capital and startup reporting.
